RANJANI  GAYATRI DUO TO PERFORM IN MUMBAI AND PUNE

The renowned  Carnatic Vocal duo  Smt Ranjani and Smt Gayatri will be performing Carnatic Vocal for SPIC MACAY  Mumbai and Pune from  20 to 24 February. The sisters are child prodigies and  started their career as well known violin artists at a very young age and then later branched off to full time vocal artists. Gayatri  has  accompanied on the violin , the great legend Smt D.K.Pattammal . They are vocalists, violinists, composers  and erudite musicologists all rolled into one . They are also well known for singing Abangs  and have released several CDs  and performed all over India and abroad.  They are the most sought after artists by Sabhas and Music Organisations in Chennai during the Dec-January season.  They have been supporting SPIC MACAY   and are featured in our Artist Directory. Recently they performed for SM Mangalore chapter at NIT Suratkal and other places.

SPIC MACAY  Mumbai and  Pune chapter is grateful to them for sparing their valuable time during their forthcoming sojourn of Mumbai  and agreeing to perform for four  five days .
