Airports Authority of India is committed towards fostering the exchange of traditional Indian values and to generate awareness of the cultural

traditions and heritage of India. Moving a step ahead in the direction of promoting arts and culture, AAI signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SPIC MACAY (Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth) for

organising a two-day event Dance and Music in the Park for the next three years.

It will showcase various classical dance and music forms of India. This year, the event will be organised on December 2 and 3 and will have performances by renowned artists — Pt BirjuMaharaj (Kathak), Raja Radha Reddy (Kuchipudi), Us Amjad Ali Khan (Sarod), Pt Rajan and Sajan Mishra (Vocal).

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Anuj Aggarwal, Member (HR), AAI and Rashmi Malik, Chairperson, SPIC MACAY Foundation in August in the presence of Guruprasad Mohapatra, Chairman, AAI.

During signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Dr Mohapatra, Chairman, AAI expressed his happiness, and said “We look forward to making this two-day event a memorable cultural evening of Delhi. This is, in a way, a tribute to the rich cultural heritage of the country.”
