    SPIC MACAY Convention at Khairagarh & Chattisgarh

    The Chattisgarh State Convention has been scheduled for the 2nd , 3rd and 4th September in the erstwhile princely state of Khairagarh.
    The venue is the well known institution, Indira Kala Sangeet University, Khairagarh and its Vice Chancellor , Dr Mandawi Singh has graciously agreed to host it. .
    The schedule is in the attachment and the artistes for the evening concerts are ………………
    2nd Sep  -Pt Vishwa Mohan Bhatt , mohan veena, along with Sh Ram Kumar Mishra on tabla
    Pt Birju Maharaj and Smt Saswati Sen – kathak
    3rd sep -Smt Ashwini Bhide Deshpande , hindustani vocal , accompanied by Sh M Bhale on tabla and Sh Farooq Lateef on sarangi.
    We are pleased to inform that the Governor of Chattisgarh, HE Mr Shekhar Dutt has agreed to inaugurate the programme in the evening of  2nd Sep.
    We cordially invite you for this event . Accomodation will be arranged in the campus. Khairagarh is located 2 hrs by road  from the capital Raipur . Alternately, the nearest  railway station is Rajnandgaon, 15 mts drive.
    Kindly confirm your participation by 15th August.  Pick up arrangements form Raipur / Rajnandgaon shall be made.
