MAHARASHTRA STATE CONVENTION – 11-13 March 2011, at IISER Pune

IISER Pune is hosting a SPIC MACAY Maharashtra convention from 11-13 March, 2011. The three day meet will be attended by volunteers from all over Pune and some from other parts of Maharashtra. Dr. Kiran
Seth, founder and chairperson of SPIC MACAY, will also be at this meeting. The meeting comprises several sessions with different groups of people involved in the movement. We hope that this gathering of volunteers, supporters and advisors will give our movement more direction in Maharashtra. It’s also great to get to meet the entire bunch of diverse people involved with SPIC MACAY.

The schedule of the meeting is as follows -

11th March – Friday
7:15 pm – Flute concert by Sri Rajendra Kulkarni at NCL Auditorium

12th March – Saturday
9:30am-Noon – Introduction, Updates of SPIC MACAY in Maharashtra and around the country

2pm – 4:30pm – Interactive session with Institute/Corporate heads and supporters – How to take the movement forward
5pm – 6:30pm – Dhrupad Vocal Concert by Sri Uday Bhawalkar, IISER
Multipurpose Hall

7pm – 8pm – Interactive Session of Volunteers with Dr. Kiran Seth

13th March – Sunday
9:30am – Noon – Issue based discussions on the movement in Maharashtra.

People new to SPIC MACAY, wanting to know what we’re about – do come to the concerts, and the Saturday evening interaction with Dr. Seth. Supporters of SPIC MACAY in Pune – Institute heads, administrators and corporate heads – We invite you for the discussion session on Saturday afternoon, and the concert by Sri Uday Bhawalkar afterwards. Volunteers with SPIC MACAY in Maharashtra – Feel free to attend all the sessions, and contribute your thoughts and ideas.
