Divine Music at Varanasi

Morning, starts at 9am with a Heritage Walk to Sarnath with a historian.

At Sarnath, there will be performances by:

· Sh. Fateh Ali Khan (shehnai)

· Kajari (Folk) by Dr. Munna Yadav and Su.Sucharita Gupta

After Lunch, a trip to Panchganga Ghat for an evening of ‘Divine Music’ by

· Pt.Bhajan Sopori (Santoor)

· Ust. Fahimuddin Dagar (Drupad)

· ‘Maha Raas’ choreographed Smt. Geeta Chandran (Bharatnatyam)

In the morning, there will be a boat tour which will cover all 82 ghats of Varanasi.

Then a Walk in the streets of Varanasi.

There will be a Panel Discussion at Radhakrishan Hall, BHU by Prof. Kamlesh Dutt Tripathi, Prof. Pradhan, Justice Giridhar Malviya; moderated Mr. Yatindra Mishra.
