The Mohan Veena is a highly modified Hawaiian slide guitar invented by Pandit Vishwamohan Bhatt. By incorporating elements of sitar, sarod and veena, and by adding more strings, he has designed the Mohan Veena and taken it to unbelievable heights. According to Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt, “The integration of the features of other classical instruments into a single instrument with a touch of acoustics engineering produces a different feeling.” Outstanding features of Mohan Veena are its natural ability to play the ‘Tantrakari Ang’ (instrumental style of music) and incorporate the „Gayaki Ang‟ (vocal style in instrumental music).
